Therapist Brand Redesign Sparks New Book, Courses, and Client Clarity

The Problem

The Problem

Mark Dombeck, PhD, had thirty years of depth in complex trauma, neurodiversity, and couples therapy, plus a full practice to show for it. But his website read like every other therapist's. It didn't reflect his thinking, his personality, or the rare range of what he actually does. That gap was costing him quietly. The wrong-fit clients still inquired, while the premium, self-aware people he most wanted to work with couldn't tell him apart from anyone else in the directory. He wanted a brand that did the sorting for him, so the right people knew he was their person on sight.

What We Did

What We Did

We started with the part most people skip: getting his client personas razor sharp. Exactly who he was trying to reach, what each of them needed, and how they decide. That clarity became the spine of everything. From there we built a full brand strategy, a new visual identity, lifestyle photography shot in his own Alameda neighborhood, and a semi-custom Framer site, all engineered so the right person feels seen the second they land. Then came the multiplier. I trained Mark on AI and loaded it with his own personas and context, so the tools already understood his niche and his voice instead of guessing. Most people get generic junk out of AI because they feed it nothing. Mark walked away with a content engine that sounds like him, and the skills to run it himself.

The Result!

The Result!

The brand now works exactly the way he asked it to: as a filter. The right clients lean in, the wrong ones quietly move on, and he has stopped competing on price with every name on the list. Online, he finally looks like the specific, premium practitioner he already was. The bigger return showed up after launch. Running the AI engine himself, Mark now publishes persona-targeted blog content, is building an online course, and is mapping a book, all off the same foundation we built. Ideas that sat in his head for years are finally shipping. We didn't just launch a website. We launched a bigger vision and handed him the controls.

How a strategic rebrand helped turn a Framer website into the foundation for a growing body of work.

Brian introduced me to AI tools and workflows I wouldn't have thought to use. I now have a way forward to execute ideas that have been percolating in my head for years.
