From "Just an Event Page" to a Movement: How We Turned a Spark into a Platform for Southeast Asian Women
Instead of taking the task at face value, I challenged her to dream bigger. I led her through a full brand strategy process to shape her concept into what would become Besharam Baat ("shameless talk")—a bold, unapologetic space for Southeast Asian women to explore identity, trauma, and truth. I built the brand from scratch: strategy, visual identity, AI-generated imagery, color and type systems, and a full web experience that looked and felt like the conversations she wanted to have. Key Moves - Called out the gap between her passion and where she was investing energy - Framed her small ask within a bigger vision - Created image prompts rooted in brand strategy (not aesthetics alone) - Developed a custom visual identity with color, type, and tone that instantly signals "this is for us"

Mansi left with more than a site—she walked away with a platform, a mirror, and a creative ecosystem that reflected the depth of her voice and the importance of her work. The site now attracts Southeast Asian women who instantly feel seen when they land on it. And the brand gives her something solid to stand on—a place to speak from with clarity, strength, and resonance.

"I didn’t realize how much I was downplaying my own idea until you reflected it back to me—bigger, bolder, and more important than I could see on my own. What you built has put ground under my feet [and] wind under my wings. I knew I had a light—your design gave it shape. I believe in the work, now more than ever and my ability to lead it.”
